PCard - Visa Prepaid Card for Students
Students can now purchase items using a Visa card issued by you.
If you provide money to students in the form of BACS payments directly to student bank accounts, you don't know what they spend it on. The PCard solves this problem by storing the actual transaction data from the card, as and when money is spent, and then identified as payments in the PayMyStudent Bursary Management System
If you must award students regular payments including, bus passes or meals, you are possibly overspending to a great degree. The PCard allows you to automate allocated money onto a prepaid Visa Debit card for a specific week, to a specific category, and restrict the spend limit to to your chosen Merchant Category Codes
Students can use these cards at an ATM, in stores and anywhere an instituion decides, for course-related items, travel and food, etc in line with Government guidelines on how the money can be spent
